Key Responsibilities:
· Implementation of Quality vision
Develop a system to ensure that production is being carried out within tolerance limits and to take proactive actions before manufacturing process before machine settings break any tolerance limits. Also develop a system to forecast the expected faults %age in upcoming months (No need to mention that on reduction basis)
· External Cost Reduction:
Reduce cost of product failure in the market and increase customer satisfaction by forecasting expected problems in the field and ensuring that Customer Service is properly informed well in advance. Proper fault analysis whether in manufacturing process or at supplier’s end to be routinely carried out , in order to eliminate fault or to enhance part Quality, durability & Reliability
· Internal Cost Reduction:
Effective implementation of Quality Vision must result in reduction of internal Cost of Quality. To achieve continuous improvements in system and output, all Quality Personnel must be properly trained and motivated.
· Responsible to heed service centers’ responses. Ensure service quality is up to mark with standards, consequently to reduce external cost.
· Maintain Coordination with various departments like e.g. QEC (in-house or other).
· Responsible for Budget Planning for the Quality Assurance section with Head of Department.
· To monitor, supervise, help and give technical guidance to his subordinates.
· Integration in quality; working and coordinating labs and working for labs. Also takes action on the NCs of audit team.
· Responsible to work on back door policy to find root cause of a product and support on the floor for detecting defective pieces and take strict actions to maintain the standard in quality.
· Ensure implementation of Quality & strict compliance with Quality standards.
Perform any tasks assigned by departmental Head/Management.
