KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Participating in the design and creation of scalable software
• Development of robust and user-friendly PHP, MySql/PostgreSQL/MongoDB based web applications.
• Design client-side and server-side architecture
• Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
• Design and creation of relational database schemas.
• Application/Framework design as needed.
• Routine daily maintenance of existing systems and databases.
• Writing clean, functional code on the front- and back-end. Write effective APIs
• Modernize the legacy apps
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
• Create security and data protection settings
• Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design. Provide support for our Kobo Toolbox (Mobile data collection) instance.
• Proficient with using JIRA and Git (version control) systems.
• Preparation of weekly / monthly work plans against PMT (performance measured time frame) by ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks in stipulated time period.
• Maintenance of hard record that includes information regarding systems development. This may include data flow diagrams, report templates & other documentation.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

It is essential that the post holder shows a good understanding and sympathy with the organizational values & principles, vision and mission as well as commitment to its SEAH (sexual exploitation abuse and harassment) protocols. We have zero tolerance policy towards SEAH and doesn’t support any action that promote or encourage SEAH.

Qualification:

Bachelor / Master Degree in Computer Science.

Experience:

Minimum experience of similar role:

6 years with Master degree and/or 9 years with Bachelor degree

Computer Skills:

MS Office, Outlook, Firm grip on PHP & MySQL.

Knowledge of php framework i.e Laravel 5, Yii or Cake etc would be an advantage.

Language:

Urdu, English
