Overall Purpose of Job:

Manage the IT Service Desk with support from the Head and be the first line of contact for all the staff requiring IT Support and perform complete general IT administrative tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Manage and configure domain server.
• Troubleshoot network hardware and software, including servers, printers, and network nodes issues as per company IT infrastructure.
• Manage and Configure and maintain AD Users and Group Policies, configure & manage MS-Outlook 2013
• User Management and File Permission Management.
• Planning & scheduling the network and service down time for various upgrades and Maintenance
• Coordinates with other departments in order to understand and meet their requirements.
• Evaluates network hardware and software requirements and capabilities and makes recommendations.
• Establishes and controls systems access and security.
• Implements traffic policies via Firewall and implementing VPN for access the private network from public network via Firewall
• Trouble shoot of all servers and devices, windows application, LAN and WAN.
• Installation of necessary Software and Operating Systems along with its migration and ensuring their activation by their keys.
• Manage and configure multiple types of server as DNS, DHCP, FTP, Web server etc. according to the requirement of the company.
• Tests every site connectivity on daily bases, establishes and controls systems access and security.
• Implementing Traffic Shaping & Surfing Quota (If required) policies according to users.
• Design IP scheme, configure Cisco switches 2950 and others if required.
• Port- channel, VLANS, STP, RSTP, 802.1Q & MSTP if required and enabling port-security for preventing unauthorized network access
• Configure and Troubleshoot VLANS in Switched Networks.
• Enabling port-security for preventing unauthorized network access.
• Wireless setup (WIFI)
• Monitors efficient performance of internet service and surveillance cameras and if not up to the mark requires coordination with vendors to resolve the issue and take follow ups.
• Manage and provide the access to control connectivity.
• Attend courses to develop and keep skills and knowledge. Increase efficiencies, technical ability so that would be beneficial in order to have its implementation within the organization
• Perform routine server monitoring and performance benchmarking. Monitor and remove virus, spyware, and other non-authorized software. Regularly update virus definitions.
• Provide training to other non-technical staff to be familiar with the system implemented to use it.  

Education/ Work Experience Requirements:

• Associate’s degree in Computer Technology or related field.  Certifications such as MCP, MCSA, A+ and CCNA preferred.
• The ability to prioritize, be attentive to details, maintain confidentiality, and provide exceptional required services.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with the internal staff and top management.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing better service.
• A sense of urgency and a commitment to timely completion of projects. Attention to detail along with a commitment to quality
• and confidentiality
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to complete within parameters of instructions given, prescribed.
