MA Services is currently seeking a talented Front End WordPress Developer with strong UX skills who will be working with our in-house design and web development team. The ideal candidate will be working on developing pages for our client website, landing pages and other web entities, who can work on developing and maintaining existing and new Applications, work under pressure independently and within team, meet deadlines and ensure proper work flow.

The Ideal candidate should be well versed in core web programming and development using open source technologies with the ability to understand and make changes to existing code, rectifying errors as well as writing new segments of code from time to time.

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

•       Develop custom, user-friendly, WordPress pages

•       Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability

•       Create responsive views for all created content and resolve cross screen size

•       Testing/troubleshooting pages on multiple browsers and platforms

•       Give time estimates and manage time efficiently.

•       Displaying modifications in a staging environment before pushing live.

•       Modify provided graphics to fit the website if the size/aspect ratio is not correct

 REQUIREMENTS:

•       3+ years’ experience working in web development and interface design

•       Ability to manage multiple projects at a time

•       Good understanding of the Wordpress platform (wordpress template hierarchy, the loop, plugins, general functionality)

•       Experience developing WordPress websites, including content updates, CSS and other visual modification, new page creation, etc

•       Ability to create/setup fully responsive, WordPress pages

•       Knowledge/experience with the Advanced Custom Fields Wordpress plug-in

•       Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS

•       Experience with working with PHP and Javascript

•       Strong Communication skills

BONUS REQUIREMENTS:

•       Ability to do design work and create something from scratch if needed

•       Knowledge and/or experience with Yoast, SEO, wordpress plugin

•       Experience with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc)
