Job Description:

Operate the school PABX, including transferring calls to appropriate employees and departments, taking messages, assisting in the placement of outgoing calls, and providing routine general information upon request.

Assist visitors to the school with directions to specific section.

Maintain records of TCS bills.

Handle all emergency calls to ambulance, fire department or police.

Prepare billings for grants and personal calls placed by employees of the school.

Perform general repair/or replacement of telephones and cords as needed.

Prepare and distribute listings of in-house telephone extensions and e-mails of other campuses/offices and general information about telephones and procedures for operation.

Perform general distribution and processing of in-house and outside mail in the mailboxes of all employees and departments.

Assist in preparing bulk mailings for delivery to the post office as needed

Assume all other reasonable and professional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the SSC.

Making calls as per direction of HR, VP’s, SMT’s and Student Affair Department.

Any other work assigned by Head or anyone designated by Head.

In Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitral, the first AKES,P schools were setup in the 1940s; since then they have contributed significantly toincreasing the literacy rates and social development in theremote, mountainous, harsh and ecologically fragile regions ofNorthern Pakistan. AKES,P currently operates 151 schools inGilgit-Baltistan and Chitral, providing education to over 27,000students, of which 54% are girls. In the Southern Region, AKES,P operates four schools in Karachi,three in Hyderabad and rural Sindh and one in Hafizabad,Punjab, with over 8,900 students.
