Responsibilities:
• To ensure University policies, procedures and systems related to human resource comply with government regulations
• Provide leadership over recruitment activities for faculty & staff positions and oversee the implementation of the University's Diversity Recruitment and Equal Opportunities plan.
• Approval of employment contracts, promotion letters and other letters/documents relating to employee lifecycle
• To design and implement training need analysis and organizational development programs.
• Administer classification and review job descriptions for all non-faculty positions.
• Oversee and manage compensation and benefits.
• Oversee the human resource information system (SAP HCM) and ensure that it meets the organization's staff information needs.
• Coordinate and administer the performance evaluation processes of Faculty & Staff
• Supervise and monitor the maintenance of employee personnel files and records.
• Prepare and administer HR department budget.
• Resolve employee grievances;
• Coordinate with the lawyers on all legal matters emanating from HR related issues.
• Perform related duties as assigned by the COO
