• Actively works to ensure smooth and timely software builds, release management and software deployments on development, staging and production systems
• Troubleshoots and fixes configuration and deployment issues using appropriate tools
• Monitors configurations and production systems with real time monitoring and alert systems to proactively predict, figure out and address impending problems with software systems
• Prepares configuration management status reports for relevant stakeholders
• Facilitates in establishing and implementing configuration management processes and SCM best practices
• Facilitates in exploration and induction of tools and technologies related to SCM and release management aimed at improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the function

Required Skills:

• A degree in computer sciences or equivalent
• Good understanding of Software Configuration Management
• Knowledge of Linux or Sun-Solaris platform would be preferable, though not necessary
• Thirst to learn and grow
